These terms govern your use of MaxLocal ("the App"), a local anesthetic dosing calculator operated by FindSquad LLC ("we", "us"). By using the App or the website at max-local.app, you agree to these terms.

Intended Use

MaxLocal is a clinical decision support tool for licensed healthcare professionals (physicians, dentists, nurse anesthetists, and other clinicians authorized to administer local anesthetics). It is not intended for use by patients, students without supervision, or the general public.

Not Medical Advice

All calculations, reference tables, and dosing guidance provided by MaxLocal are reference values only and do not constitute medical advice. They do not replace clinical judgment, patient-specific assessment, or current literature review. Users must verify every dose, indication, and contraindication before administration using primary sources and institutional protocols.

No Patient-Identifiable Data

MaxLocal is designed so that no protected health information (PHI) or patient identifiers leave the user's device. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any data they enter complies with their institution's policies and applicable law (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).

Subscriptions and Payments

Price: $2.99 per year for Full Access features. The LAST Protocol is always free and never paywalled.
Billing: Subscriptions renew annually unless canceled. Payment is processed by Stripe.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via the Stripe customer portal. Access continues through the end of the current paid period.
Refunds: Request refunds within 14 days of purchase by emailing findsquadapp@gmail.com.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App to administer medications to patients without independent verification.
Share your subscription credentials for commercial reuse, automated access, or bulk account creation.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code or clinical data tables except as permitted by law.
Use the App in any way that violates applicable medical, regulatory, or data-protection laws.

Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINDSQUAD LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MEDICAL DECISIONS MADE IN RELIANCE ON ITS OUTPUT.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which FindSquad LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
